Original file(960 × 1,280 pixels, file size: 355 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

KFC outlet at Cobham, located to the right of the food court amongst other food units, opposite customer seating. It’s traded from Cobham since the site first opened in 2012 & has always been popular due to its recognisable name and convenience. Pricing is slightly inflated, but to be expected at a services. Extra don’t operate this KFC themselves, but it’s popularity brings an additional flow of trade from the M25 to Cobham, giving Extra indirect profit. KFC outperforms other, less-known food outlets in the food court here, such as El Mexicana or Tapori. KFC is a large unit, but takeaway only and lacks its own seating. KFC is obvious at Cobham, so customers can identify it easily amongst the other brands. The service at KFC was fast, despite the large influx of customers on my visit as I visited two days before Xmas, when the site was quite busy. It’s a clean, well-presented KFC. It’s yet to be refurbished, with the black colour scheme, like most other MSA and high street KFCs. McDonald’s takes some trade from KFC at Cobham. KFC is signposted from the M25, as it’s one of Cobham’s core brands, & is advertised around the site and included on all totem poles at Cobham.
