The Burger King offer at Fleet South, situated at the back of the amenity building within the food court area. BK has been trading from Fleet South since 1996 when it replaced Julie’s in the old building. BK, in both this building and the old building, is positioned close to KFC. Oddly, Welcome Break do this frequently and most of the time, customers will use KFC as Burger King has seen decline on high streets. BK obtains extremely inflated pricing structures, putting customers off. It’s a small unit without any customer seating of its own, so people are expected to use the large seating area opposite. Until 2021, this Burger King was the only one on site & used to loose trade to the McDonalds on the Northbound site. This pic evidences the high ceilings at Fleet South and Welcome Break’s unique flooring they used in all the sites they’ve refurbished since 2014. During my visit, Burger King was moderately busy, as with most brands at the time. Burger King is signposted from the M3 here so customers leaving the motorway know it’s here. It’s also advertised around the site.
