Trivia and History
The truckstop and diner here is positioned on the old Great North Road, where it has been for decades. The café was formerly called the Triangle Café and changed to the Stibbington Diner in the 1980s.
The truckstop used to be part of the Truckers group.
Signs on the A1 directing traffic to the site were upgraded in summer 2023, with the site gaining official black truckstop signs as opposed to the previous standard service area signs. The new signs also incorrectly advertise that there are electric vehicle charging facilities on-site.
